Echo Of Lux
A story-driven 2.5D chess-like board game that utilizes pieces to change tiles into either light or dark. Your goal is to turn all the tiles of the board into your own color. However, unlike in traditional chess, taking pieces will spread your influence and convert your opponent's pieces into yours.
This game was created for, and is a submission to, Pirate Software - Game Jam 14.

I can see myself paying for a full release, it was really fun to play!
I really love the atmosphere from the music and art. it is so cozy and peaceful, but a little surreal, almost like a Sonic game.
One piece of feedback is that sometimes the battles get stuck in a loop where the enemy will just repeat the same move over and over. Maybe that is just the correct strategy on the AIs part bc it did beat me when this happened haha.

The game is very charming
Immediately greeted with amazing art, well written dialogue and great music. The concept is also simple but fun and engaging, played about an hour without realizing.
It is a really hard game though I must say
Would had loved a reset the level button since one error can easily lose you the match. Restarting feels necessary since its easy for the game to snowball.

The character art was very pretty and the music was calming, I sometimes even forgot is was there. Maybe more energetic music would fit the battle theme.

It has wonderful sound and music, The Visuals are stylized and fitting to the game, I got absorbed into it right away. The Story is interesting, and very well written!
